WINNIPEG – The Mondor family goes all out decorating their Moray Street home for Halloween every year but there’s a bigger reason for it than just spooky fun.
With all the traffic that flock by to see what creations they’ve come up with each year, the Mondors use the opportunity to help hungry kids.
Angela Mondor tells 680 CJOB they take donations for Rossbrook House.
“[It’s] a fantastic place where young people can gather before and after school,” says Mondor. “They also get fed… and they get homework help after school. I was there as part of a United Way tour once and they left a bif hole in my heart.”
Mondor says they accept cash and non-perishable food donations.
They also have a Go Fund Me page.
