ST. ADOLPHE – Two people have been killed in a serious crash on Highway 75 that closed the southbound lanes for a few hours early Sunday morning.
It happened close to St. Norbert when a car was travelling northbound in the southbound lane when it slammed head-on into another car.
The northbound car ended up in the ditch and caught fire.
Both drivers, two Winnipeg women in their twenties were killed.
Alcohol, speeding and distracted driving are all considered to be factors in this collision.
