WINNIPEG – Students at the University of Manitoba may be taking their exams later than expected due to the ongoing strike.
The university says the longer the strike lasts, the more it will impact exam dates.
The end of the fall term, the start of the winter term and the voluntary withdrawal date from courses could all be affected as well.
Modified schedules are posted on the U of M’s website and take into account a variety of dates for when the strike will end.
Students are still responsible for ongoing assignments and labs for classes that haven’t been cancelled.
It’s unknown at this point when negotiations between the faculty association and the university will resume.
