WINNIPEG — A train hauling what appears to be grain has jumped the tracks in Transcona.
The Air 680 Chopper spotted the derailment Monday afternoon along the CN line crossing the Perimeter as well as Ravenhurst Road.
At least four railcars were tipped on to their sides with grain spilled nearby just west of Ravenhurst.
While crews on scene investigated, traffic was brought to a halt.
It appears part of the train blocking the roadways have since been moved, however the derailed cars still need to be cleaned up.
