WINNIPEG — Winnipeg police have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection to a 2014 homicide in the city’s North End.
On Dec. 14, 2014, Angela Marie Poorman, 29, was found suffering from stab wounds in the area of Selkirk Avenue and Charles Street. She was rushed to hospital in critical condition, but later died.
The accused was a youth at the time so cannot be named.
It was determined that the two met during the early hours, when an argument erupted and the man allegedly stabbed Poorman several times before he fled.
On Nov. 28, 2016 the accused was charged with second degree murder.
He remains in custody.
