WINNIPEG – Police released the final tally for the holiday checkstop program.
Forty six people were charged with driving impaired or refusing a breathalyzer along with ten other criminal arrests.
The highest blood alcohol concentration was four times the legal limit.
The average age of those arrested was 39 years old with the youngest offender aged 21 and the oldest aged 65.
Police also issued 136 notices for other traffic violations.
Nearly 4500 vehicles were pulled over during the checkstop program.
