WINNIPEG – Plowing crews are starting to get rid of the mountains of snow on boulevards around the city.
The idea is to create some room for additional snow when our next storm hits.
Giant snow blowers are being used to load the snow onto trucks, then its taken to dumping sites on the outskirts of town.
Crews have also begun plowing backlanes.
They’ll continue until they’ve all been cleared.
The schedule is done to match up with garbage pick up.
