LITTLE GRAND RAPIDS – Mounties are making sure a dry community in eastern Manitoba stays that way after seizing a substantial amount of booze.
Possession of alcohol in Little Grand Rapids First Nation is illegal although officers suspected a 33-year-old man was bringing booze into the community.
Turns out their suspicions were correct after they searched the house and found over 200 bottles of whiskey, along with one bottle of vodka and some marijuana.
The suspect was arrested and is now facing drug charges.
