WINNIPEG – A former Manitoba NDP cabinet minister, who was the subject of a sexual harrassment complaint, will learn his fate today.
Mohinder Saran, who represents The Maples, was suspended from going to caucus meetings in November after a formal complaint he harassed someone in the workplace.
The NDP caucus is meeting today to determine if Saran will be fully re-instated to the caucus.
Last month, the NDP revealed that Saran faced another harassment accusation that had been resolved informally several years ago.
Saran’s lawyer recently said he has been taking sensitivity training and fully expects to be reinstated.
