WINNIPEG – Potholes o’ plenty are popping up all over the place in The Peg thanks to this mild weather.
They started appearing Friday night, and multiplied rapidly on Saturday.
The city’s Manager of Streets Maintenance, Jim Berezowsky, witnessed first hand how quickly they’re appearing:
“I was on Chief Peguis Trail earlier Saturday morning, and three-and-a-half hours later on the same lane-way, I see three potholes that were the result of the combination of moisture, traffic and the temperatures.”
Berezowsky says if you come across a bad pothole, to please call 311 to report it.
