WINNIPEG – Crime Stoppers are offering up big money for information that will bust drug dealers.
During the month of February, the program will pay double the cash rewards for tips that lead the arrest of fentanyl or carfentanil suppliers and traffickers.
Crime Stoppers Chair Paul Johnson tells Global News, tipsters will remain anonymous throughout the entire process.
“Unless you decide to tell somebody, we’re not going to tell anybody,” says Johnson. “Because we don’t know who you are, you’ll never be a witness. We have court protection now that… protects the Crime Stopper informant.”
Cash rewards could be upwards of $2000.
Anyone with information on trafficking fentanyl or carfentanil can call 204-786-8477 or submit tips online.
