WINNIPEG – Police have arrested two more suspects allegedly connected to a homicide that happened a couple weeks ago in the West End.
At about 11:50 PM on January 19th, officers responded to a call in the 600 block of Sherbrook Street to check on the well-being of a man.
They found 38-year-old Trenton Balonyk dead inside a residence.
The investigation revealed that earlier in the evening, he was approached by three suspects.
They assaulted him and due to the severity of his injuries, he died sometime after.
Police arrested 24-year-old Brendan Severight on Saturday and charged him with first degree murder for his alleged involvement.
Earlier on Wednesday, officers apprehended 31-year-old Luke Moar and 25-year-old Ryan Flett.
They’re both charged with first degree murder for allegedly taking part in the assault.
