KYIV, UKRAINE – Five Manitoba ambulances have been delivered to Ukraine to help out medical institutions there.
It’s part of the Ukrainian-Canadian Congress’ Ambulances for Ukraine project. The ambulances were officially transferred in Kyiv on January 27 by the Embassy of Canada, the UCC, and Caritas Ukraine – an international aid organization.
A total of ten ambulances have been sent over from Canada.
Conflict in Ukraine has claimed thousands of lives, many of them civilians.
