WINNIPEG – With spring around the corner, the city is launching a review of public sports fields around town.
It’s your chance to let the city know about fields that aren’t being properly maintained or shared fairly. The idea is to shape recommendations to improve the facilities moving forward. That could include ideas on how to better maintain the fields and keep them accessible.
The city currently manages about 1000 fields, most of them for soccer or baseball.
