WINNIPEG – A 30-year-old Winnipeg man has been cuffed after a string of robbery attempts.
Shortly after midnight March 3rd, the man trying to hide his identity robbed a restaurant near Goulet Street and St. Mary’s Road. He took off with some cash from the til.
Three days later, a man matching the description of the first robbery tried to rob another restuarant in that area.
But he took off after noticing he was surrounded by a number of employees.
Police showed up to the scene only to find out the man tried robbing another business but again left empty-handed.
Police found the man hiding in a washroom and arrested him.
