WINNIPEG – The province is changing the way you book campgrounds for the summer.
It’s a plan designed to cut down on the delays and long wait times for popular spots when registering online.
Registration will be staggered this year – that means there are three different dates to book.
On Monday, March 20th, you can reserve cabins, yurts as well as spots in Birds Hill.
Starting March 22nd, reservations open up for other popular parks like Winnipeg Beach and the Whiteshell.
All other sites can be booked on April 3rd onward.
Even though admission to National Parks is free this year for Canada’s 150th Birthday, you’ll still have to pay to get into Provincial Parks.
