WINNIPEG – The Arlington Bridge is about to be shut down for four days, which is sure to cause traffic headaches.
It will be closed Saturday morning at 6 a.m. and will stay closed to traffic until Wednesday morning.
Pedestrians can still use the sidewalk.
The closure will allow the bridge to be inspected and for maintenance work to be done.
The bridge is more than a century old and the city continues to study ideas to replace it. It is slated to close permanently by 2020.
