Mayor Brian Bowman hopes the provincial budget being released on Tuesday will include a boost for infrastructure.
He posted what looks like a wish list for support with investments in local and regional road renewal totaling 105 million dollars.
Bowman hopes the money the city recieved last year for infrastructure remains the same for this year.
Last year we received over 325 million dollars.
“We’re on track to grow to one million people and we need to be building our city for a future that we know is coming and is here right now. We need a strong and committed provincial partner to support this growth and we’ll be looking for that on Tuesday”
He also hopes the province invests at least a billion dollars a year in strategic infrastructure for all municipalities.
