It was a terrifying situation for a Winnipeg boy, who was grabbed in an attempted abduction Friday afternoon.
At roughly 3:25 p.m., the 11 year old was walking near Selkirk Avenue and Parr Street, when he was confronted by a man.
The man then grabbed him, and tried to drag him away. The boy was able to break free and run, but the man chased him.
The boy eventually made it home safe, and was not hurt.
Police searched the area but could not find the suspect, who is described as being in his 40s, balding with a medium build. He was wearing reading glasses and a grey coloured shirt, a grey and orange coloured jacket, blue jeans and white or grey shoes.
