Jets vs Panthers Tonight; CJOB Pre-game 5:35pm
Last week Winnipeg Jets Head Coach Claude Noel said he wanted no part of his team playing the role of spoiler. But that's exactly the scenario the Jets find themselves in for tonight's 6:30pm faceoff against the Florida Panthers.  As a result of Washington's 4-2 loss in Tampa Bay last night, the Panthers have a chance to nail down a playoff spot for the first time since 2000, and a title of any kind since winning the Eastern Conference Final way back in 1996.  Stephen Weiss, who texted "I love you man" to Steven Stamkos for scoring the winning and insurance goals last night, told CJOB's Dan Kamal, the anticipation of what could be tonight can't get in the way of "game day" preperation.     The goaltending matchup will be Ondrej Pavelec and Jose Theodore, and Jets Head Coach Claude Noel says Dustin Byfuglien will play despite being noticeably less than 100%.   Our pre-game show starts at 5:35 from the Upper Deck Sports Bar at the McPhillips Station Casino.

The Winnipeg Jets have recalled Patrice Cormier from their St. John's Farm Team of the AHL for Tuesday night's game in Florida. Cormier has suited up 6 times during his 3 previous recalls this season and has no points but has won 18 of 22 faceoffs taken.   It's believed Cormier will be taking the place of Kyle Wellwood who was noticeably limping after Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss in Tampa Bay.
