Protest staged at Health Minister Ron Liepert's Calgary office
_QR77 Newsroom
4/17/2009

About one hundred people from across the province, mostly angry seniors, staged a protest in front of Health Minister Ron Liepert's Calgary office Friday.
The protesters carried signs stating "don't cut seniors out" and "don't steal from seniors."
But Liepert was not at the office for the protest.
Demonstrators still used megaphones calling for pharmacare for seniors and voiced concerns over the de-listing of health services.
When asked about the protest earlier in the day, Liepert called it a front for the NDP, but added the people are free to voice their opinions.
