A BC man received more than he could "bear" to imagine while out for a dip in his hot tub over the weekend. RCMP say the 55-year-old Whistler man was relaxing in his backyard with his back to a forest when he felt a heavy blow to the back of his head. He turned around and found himself face-to-face with a black bear. He yelled at it, then ran into his home. RCMP arrived and destroyed the bear after finding it in the nearby wooded area. A necropsy will be done to see if they can find a motivation for the encounter. The man escaped with only cuts to his head.
