The Calgary Fire Department rescue boat was called into action Monday afternoon to rescue two people who got caught in the fast flowing water of the Bow River.
One person went into the water and got into trouble. A second person went into help and both got swept downstream.
It happened just before two o'clock near Shouldice Park.
The two people were treated by EMS once they were taken to shore.
