A judge has ruled that police have to return the marijuana grow-op equipment they seized from a Medicine Hat man...and his pot. Police searched the home of 48 year old Corey Robin Maxwell back in February for an allegedly stolen XBox, and found a 60-plant grow op. They also reported that they discovered dangerous electrical conditions. Maxwell was charged with possession of stolen property as well as with cultivation, possession and trafficking of marijuana. However, all the charges were withdrawn in June as Maxwell had a Health Canada licence to grow pot plants and possess medicinal marijuana to treat pain from a spinal injury. The judge has now ruled that Maxwell's grow-op equipment and pot plants have to be given back.
