After the first seven months of the year, Calgary's resale housing market outperformed expectations. Calgary Real Estate Board President Bob Jablonski says its expected to grow at a much slower pace in the latter half of 2012, but activity will still be strong. He also says the condo market is starting to pick-up because people haven't been able to qualify for a new home under the new mortgage rules, and have instead opted for condos.
