The family of a caregiver murdered in Camrose over the weekend has identified her as Dianne McClements, 61.
She was found dead inside an independent living home with a 17-year-old resident now charged with second-degree murder.
The teenage boy has also been charged with stealing McClements car after he was tracked down and arrested in Vermilion, northeast of Camrose.
He's to appear in court in Camrose on June 7th.
It's the second time a caregiver has been killed at a home in the community in just over a year.
Valerie Wolski, 41, was strangled to death with a developmentally challenged man found unfit to stand trial.
It was later learned that a risk assessment report had determined the man posed an extreme danger to women. (td)
