In the race to predict how warm and wet summer will be in Alberta, the Weather Network is first out of the gate.
Forecasters struggle to tell us whether it's going to rain two days in advance so stretching that out to two months or more leaves some margin for error. The forecasters at the Weather Network are looking through the rest of June and into July and August to tell us what to expect this coming summer in Alberta.
First the good news if you like heat...the bad news if you don't: they expect it will be warmer than normal across the province. Will it rain on your wedding day or campout? That's impossible to say but the Weather Network expects precipitation to be average...except for drier conditions in the southeast and the northwest.
