The Costco store on 149 street and 124 avenue was evacuated Thursday evening.
Staff and customers were told to leave the retail outlet just before 7pm after people smelled smoke inside the building. The smoke was cleared from inside while investigators looked for a source. A captain with Edmonton Fire Rescue said he heard the cause maybe electrical in nature.
