Hamilton firefighters were called out to a heating and air conditioning business at 139 Wentworth Street North after flames broke out in the garage at the back of the lot.
Emergency crews were called out to the area at about 11:30 am.
Hamilton Police had Wentworth Street North closed between Barton and Cannon.
The cause is still unknown, but officials do say the garage at the back of the business is a complete write of.
No injuries are reported.
