Food trucks may not be able to operate closer to restaurants in Hamilton afterall.
Councillors had voted earlier this month to loosen a bylaw to allow trucks to operate 20 meters away from fixed restaurants.
But council has now voted to send the policy back to committee for further study.
Food truck operators had complained that the current bylaw is too restrictve, while restaurant owners said the amendment would give the food trucks an unfair advantage.
