There's another call for two way traffic on both King and Main streets through downtown Hamilton.
The call is coming from urban design expert Ken Greenberg.
He told the Transforming and Revitalizing Downtown Summit in Hamilton that one-way streets are designed to move traffic at high speeds.
But Greenberg adds one-way streets are bad for pedestrians, who he says, are the key to revitalizing the downtown.
He says it is foot traffic that actually boots the economy.
Greenberg believes transforming Main and King into two ways streets would help do that.
