The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have released five players from training camp.
The Cats have cut running back James Berezik, offensive lineman Brandon Thomas, defensive lineman Jada Brown, defensive end Matt Oh and linebacker Alex Joseph.
The Ticats have also placed defensive back Marc Beswick on the nine-game injured list.
Beswick led the CFL with 27 special teams tackles in 2011.
The Ticats travel to Winnipeg for their final pre-season game on Wednesday night.
