It's called the Gateway Ice Centre, but it will be more than just a rink.
The 25 million dollar privately owned triple rink in Stoney Creek will also be home to a gymnasium, running track and a full restaurant.
It's currently under construction at Fruitland Road and the South Service Road.
Two of the three ice surfaces will be regulation NHL size, with the other being slightly smaller.
The main rink has seating for 16-hundred and the other two will have 400 seats each.
