A high-angle rescue on the Red Hill today.
Hamilton firefighters were called just after 8 o'clock this morning after a man slipped off the Red Hill trail near Lawrence Road.
Officials say the man injured his leg after falling underneath the Red Hill Valley Parkway overpass.
Fire Safety Officer Dave Christopher says crews went down and carried the man out on a backboard and took him to hospital.
The man's age has not been released.
