The province may delay the planned sale of 65 single family TCHC homes worth about $24 million by Mayor Rob Ford.
Ford Planned the sale to pay for repairs to the city's crumbling public housing units and he's not happy about the latest to come from Queen's park.
Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister Kathleen Wynne is refusing to grant the necessary approvals to sell the TCHC properties until a report on the fate of another 619 TCHC homes goes to council in the fall.
The Mayor has written a letter to Premier Dalton McGuinty asking that he honour the will of council to sell the homes as he's done in the past when he stuck with their decision to build light-rail.
