Vancouver police have made an arrest after a 39-year-old man was attacked with an axe late last night.
It happened at an apartment building in the 2700 block of West 4th Avenue.
Cops were alerted to the crime scene after the victim stumbled to a nearby gas station and was seen bleeding from the neck.
A 43-year-old man – who police say is the victim's roommate – was found hiding in his car and arrested without incident.
The 39-year-old victim received treatment for cuts to his head, neck, right hand and arm before being released from hospital.
The suspect has not yet been charged.
