Opposition to Kinder Morgan expansion growing

Opposition to Kinder Morgan's plans to expand a pipeline that runs through Burnaby is growing.
More than a dozen residents are now calling for intervenor status at National Energy Board hearings.
Area resident Glen Porter says neighbours have teamed up with the "Ecojustice" law firm.
He says insurance is also an issue...

"I think we want to know that they have insurance and that it is adequate to cover potentially very large impacts... that's what we don't know."

The company wants to double the capacity of their line, which transports crude from Alberta to refineries in the Lower Mainland.
