We'll have to wait until next month to find out if one of the instigators of last year's Stanley Cup riot will spend any time in jail.
Provincial Court judge Karen Walker has delayed the sentence hearing for Alexander Peepre.
She says she needs more time to put together her findings.
The crown wants peepre to spend up to nine months in jail, but the UBC student's lawyer is asking for no more than three months behind bars.
The 21-year old pleaded guilty to charges of participating in a riot and assaulting Cameron Brown, a 27-year old man who'd been trying to put out fires in downtown trash cans.
He helped flip over a truck later set on fire in front of the post office, posed for pictures in front of the burning vehicle and threw things at police trying to disperse the crowd.
Peepre's new sentence date has been tentatively set for the week of September 11th.
