Eastern Region Weekly Prizes
As the sun rises on the Canadian Prairies, it first gently kisses the lakes, rivers and farmlands of Eastern Manitoba. The vast landscape ranges from farmland and Precambrian Shield to beautiful lakes and historic river waterways, presenting opportunities for agri-tourism, eco-tourism, whitewater rafting, canoeing, fishing and hunting. The culture is as varied as the landscape; one can enjoy Francophone, Ukrainian, Mennonite, Métis, Obijway and Cree First Nations food, festivals and heritage.
