Holy Redeemer Church Fall Spectacular Fund Raiser
On Saturday, September 18th, (2010) from 9:30 a.m. til 3:30 p.m., Holy Redeemer Church, located at 264 Donwood Drive, is hosting their very first 'FALL SPECTACULAR' - an amazing indoor and outdoor shopping and social event!
More than 25 different vendors will feature a unique variety of wares including hand-made crafts and jewellery, pet supplies, floral arrangements, nail art and many other fabulous items! Baked goods, fresh vegetables, preserves, a huge silent auction, 'pork-on-a-bun', barbecue, entertainment and awesome activities for the kids round out the agenda!
It's a craft sale! A farmer's market! A bake sale! A pig roast! A kid's play day! A huge Fall Spectacular event you will not want to miss!!! Come early and spend the day browsing! Silver collection for admission. Proceeds to special projects in the parish. See you there!

Lights on Broadway
A lighting design competition takes place when four world-renowned lighting designers illuminate the elms lining Broadway. Once the sun sets, the flowing forest will dazzle passersby. A wnning design will be selected with the hopes of creating a permanent lighting display on Broadway in 2011.

The Big Dance on Broadway
Winnipeg's biggest dance party! With two live music stages, two huge dance floors and dozens of performers in different styles, Winnipegers will have a chance to waltz, jive, do a two-step, salsa dance and more. Everyone is invited to dance the night away to the music of the Ron Paley Big Band, Papa Mambo, The Wind Ups and many others.

Winnipeg Winners Walk of Hope
Join Ovarian Cancer Canada’s 9th annual Winners Walk of Hope. The Winners Walk of Hope is the single largest fundraiser in Canada that supports ovarian cancer awareness, education and research. Last year 11,000 participants raised more than $2.3M. This year they have set their sights at raising a record-breaking $2.5M.
