Winnipeg Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating two children missing since August 30th, 2008.
The children were away on an authorized two-week holiday with their biological father, Kevin Maryk, and were to be returned to their custodial guardian on September 1st, 2008. The children have yet to be returned, and police believe that Maryk has abducted them.
Six-year-old Abby Maryk is described as weighing 40 lbs, with green eyes, light complexion, and wavy shoulder-length blond hair.
Seven-year-old Dominic Maryk is described as weighing 60 lbs, with brown eyes, light complexion, and short brown hair.

Maryk and the children were last seen on August 19th at a car rental agency near King Edward Street.
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for thirty-seven-year-old Kevin Maryk for Abduction in Contravention of a Court Order X 2.
Maryk is described as a Caucasian male, 5'10" in height, and weighing 205 pounds. He has a fair complexion, hazel eyes, shaved head, and wears a goatee.
