Pair of RCMP officers charged with impaired driving in separate incidents
CJOB News Team reporting
10/5/2009

Two RCMP officers in different parts of Manitoba are facing impaired driving charges.

The first incident happened on the Nelson House First Nation last Tuesday.

Off-duty officer, Constable Darcy Stevenson, allegedly nearly rammed his jeep into a colleague driving an RCMP truck.

On Friday morning, 30 year old Thompson officer Dana Randall is alleged to have smashed his pick-up truck into an oncoming taxi. No one was injured.

Both officers are facing drunk driving charges, have court dates and have been removed from active duty pending internal investigations.
