The daughter of a Winnipeg man whose murder case is under review as a possible wrongful conviction hopes her father will be home for Christmas.
Frank Ostrowski was convicted of ordering the murder of Robert Nieman in 1986.
A judge reserved her decision Tuesday on whether to grant bail to Ostrowski while the case is reviewed by federal justice officials.
Amber Ostrowski says it has been hard on her family with no father around for more than 20 years..
Ostrowski's conviction was based partly on testimony from a star witness who had his drug charges dropped after Ostrowski's trial.
