Bombers Suing Over Cancelled Aerosmith Concert
CJOB News Team reporting
2/8/2010

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are suing Keystone Entertainment of Calgary over the cancelled Aerosmith Concert last summer. A statement of claim was filed Monday. Aerosmith and ZZ Top were to have played the Winnipeg Stadium August 7th. A reported 10-thousand tickets had been sold. However the concert was cancelled after lead singer Steve Tyler fell from a stage in South Dakota two days before the Winnipeg date,  breaking a shoulder. He also received 20 stitches to his head. A lawyer for the Bombers told CJOB... Keystone Entertainment failed to fulfill terms of the contract which caused the club to incur expenses. However he would not disclose what those expenses were.
