Layoff mitigation talks between Air Canada and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers in Winnipeg have not gone well..
Union spokesman Lorne Hammerberg told CJOB they found out Wednesday more people would be laid off in Winnipeg than initially thought..
He says the numbers are increasing to 330, starting April 20th.
Hammerberg says originally there were going to be 265 layoffs in the city.. But The airline has made other arrangements..
More meetings are scheduled in Montreal Thursday between the Union, Air Canada and Aveos..
