Beer Prices To Rise Monday

3/4/2010

If you're looking to stock up your fridge with beer, now might be a good time. The Manitoba Liquor Control Commission says a 12-pack will cost $1.25 more starting Monday. The commission says the increase is necessary to cover increased supplier and vendor costs. The Manitoba Liquor Control Commission says it has frozen beer prices for the last six years, so Manitoba suds are some of the cheapest in the country. The commission says Manitoba beer prices should still be among the lowest in Canada. Premium spirits will also go up marginally starting in July.
