Four teens have murder charges upgraded

Two 17 year old males and two 18 year old men are now facing charges of first degree murder and attempted murder in connection with a shooting incident at a House Party last December in the 400 block of Martin Avenue West..

The four males went to the party but were asked to leave.. They returned a short time later armed with a shotgun and shots were fired.

Tyler Hawula and Matthew Reynolds were killed while a third male victim recovered from his injuries.
The suspect males were originally charged with 2nd degree Murder in relation to this incident.

But a continued investigation by the Homicide Unit, and after consulting with the Crown Attorney the charges of 1st degree Murder were authorized.

The four accused are in custody.
