Beans, And A Few Other Crops Still To Come Off
CJOB News Team reporting
11/2/2009

The fall harvest in Manitoba is now focused specifically on soybeans, a few acres of canola, cereals and flax. In it's weekly crop report, Manitoba Agriculture says the majority of soybeans are testing 20-percent moisture or higher. Some edible beans have been harvested in the Central Region. A few acres of sunflowers were harvested in the western part of the Central Region with no harvesting reported in the East.  Some farmers are worried about the grain corn harvest with some mould development, and high kernel moisture content.
