A 35-year old man has been given one of the most significant penalties imposed for child pornography-related offences in Manitoba. Tuesday in a Winnipeg Provincial Court, Mark Andrew Krawczyk was sentenced to 12 months in jail after pleading guilty to smuggling. Last April, he arrived at the Emerson border crossing driving a commercial truck and trailer. A search of the truck turned up CDs containing what was believed at the time to be images of child pornography.
