Winnipeg Police are investigating a stabbing incident from Wednesday night.
Police say around 11 o'clock a man in his 40s was stabbed in the upper body in the 800 block of Alverstone Street.
The victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition, but has since been upgraded to stable.
Police have arrested a male in his 30s in connection with the attack.
Police say the victim and suspect knew each other.
